COLOR: Straw-colored with greenish highlights tending to slightly golden yellow with aging.
BOUQUET: Fragrant in the most delicate hints of well-ripened white flesh fruit, peach and citrus. Elegant and broad with good floral intensity of jasmine.
TASTE: Almost crisp texture in its pleasantness to drink. Juicy flesh good flavor, freshness and persistence with light notes of tropical fruits.

Ideal with lake and sea fish carpaccio, octopus salad and flaky cod, seafood risotto.

A year characterized by a spring with little rain and an April that strangely whitewashed the mountains above 1100 mt. The following months truly atypical for an area defined as temperate, May with frequent rain showers and June with temperatures over 37 degrees. The opportunity to consider ancient tillage allowed the July rains to be providentially absorbed by our vineyards, avoiding dangerous water stress. Slightly late flowering and regular production.
Lush foliage allowed accelerated sugar gradation and ripening. An excellent harvest of perfectly ripe, splendid grapes with well-formed, juicy berries and a balanced and harmonious relationship between the complexity and sweetness sides.

Thirty-five percent of the must ferments and elevates in small old 228-liter white oak barrels.

It all begins with a deep passion of a man who, living in an area with a historical “Rosé” vocation, decides to undertake his own experience as a winemaker and cellarer. Mattia Vezzola senior thus bought the first vineyards in Moniga in the locality “Costa,” where the present Costaripa winery would rise about 60 years later.

Costaripa is located in the heart of Valtènesi in Moniga del Garda.

The architecture that can be glimpsed, redraws the features of the surrounding land and through the use of natural materials blends completely into the morphology and colors of the place in harmony with the land.

The winery has always represented the value of researching new technologies in the service of tradition and respecting a philosophy exclusively aimed at quality.

The winery, in its close relationship with people, opens its doors for tours and guided tastings to intensely savor the history and typicality of its wines.
