A tribute to the energy and resourcefulness of Giovanni Follador, father of Gianfranco, so nicknamed.
Refined and noble quality sparkling wine, very fine perlage in a splendid combination of bouquet and flavors. An excellent Superiore with a pale straw yellow color, with typical greenish reflections. Lively and very fine perlage with an intense bouquet of citrus, almond and acacia flowers. Excellent balance of acidity and fragrance, well structured with a dry finish. Important wine, good aperitif.
Starting from 1769, with the awarding of an honor to Giovanni Follador for the quality of his wine by the Doge of Venice Alvise IVº Mocenigo, the Follador family has humbly followed their passion, tracing with great care and devotion a model for Italian sparkling wine. Gianfranco Follador, descendant of Giovanni, has been able to bring about a change in the family tradition by dedicating himself to sparkling wine. In 1970, Gianfranco Follador together with his wife Italia, Follador Spumanti, founded one of the first sparkling wine companies in Valdobbiadene, continuing this tradition of quality, passion and excellence in wine production. The Follador Prosecco line is the hallmark of refined sparkling wines. The fine and persistent perlage, rich bouquet with an elegant and dry finish, are the result of an uncommon skill handed down for more than two centuries
