- Description
the first red wine ever produced in Parma. From its first vintage in 1992, it has become the flagship of the winery and the region. In the glass it has an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. Excellent balanced structure on the palate. Very fruity with soft and silky tannins. Ample and intense notes of red fruits, licorice and undergrowth on the nose.
Aged for 12 months in French (Allier) oak barrels. Three years of bottle aging follow. 70% Barbera 30% Merlot
The winery, designed to be a perfect synthesis of architectural aesthetics and production functionality, is sized to accommodate all the grapes produced and allow them to be processed using natural operating methods that respect the raw material. Hypogeum at constant temperature allows gravitational pressing. The small stainless steel tanks and French oak barriques accompany the musts first and then the wines through a slow evolutionary process that will make them unique and exciting. The fully automatic bottling plant that brings a fundamental quality rate to the final stage of processing. It is the place where nothing is accidental, where every action has deep meaning, and where the executional quality of every gesture is fundamental to the achievement of great quality.
