- Description
Assembled from over 100 wines.
Lively bouquet with aromas of citrus and fresh apple, but also delicate yeasts and floral notes. The powerful and elegant body with its fine perlage impresses with its beautiful acidity and delicious gooseberry taste.
More than 100 wines are blended to make this champagne with all its complexity. Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier set the stage for the supple body, while Chardonnay adds finesse.
In 1794, Jean-Remy Moët purchased the former monastery at Hautvillers, where the monk Dom Pérignon had refined the technology of champagne production. Moët was soon exporting to European countries and the United States. The house has the largest chalk cellars in Épernay.
