- Description
The Pinot Noir grapes used for our Marjon are grown in limestone-clay soils in a hilly area at 350 to 650 meters above sea level. It takes its name from a limestone debris belt above the vineyards (in the ancient pre-Latin Indo-European language “marra” means “debris”)
COLOR
Marjon comes in ruby red with garnet hues.
PERFUME
On the nose, hints of berries, plum and cherry are enhanced by hints of spice
TASTE
In the mouth, a pleasant backbone of freshness immediately leads back to the altitude at which the vineyards that give rise to this elegant Pinot Noir are located, whose tannins, supported by a lively acidity, are suave and seductive. Fruity and juicy finish with clear notes of spice.
