The rich, impenetrable red promises much pleasure of fruity wine. The captivating fragrance is great! An intense cassis note characterizes the wine and is accompanied by smoke, pepper and nettle, which is relentlessly felt. The wine is extremely full-bodied, has very seductive, berry extract, supported by a solid structure of strong tannins and fresh acidity. Incredible balance. Despite its age, it does not show maturity and the virgin cassis note lasts long into the finish.

La Braccesca Estate

La Braccesca covers 508 hectares where the former farm of the Bracci counts once stood, hence the name of the estate and its coat of arms: an arm covered in armor holding a sword. Since 1990 the Marchesi Antinori have owned the estate. The total area of the vineyards is 340 hectares divided into two bodies: the first, 366 hectares of which 237 are planted in vineyards is located on the border between the municipalities of Montepulciano and Cortona. The other plot, 142 hectares of which 103 are vineyards, stretches all the way to Montepulciano between three of the most renowned subzones for the production of great red wines: Cervognano, Santa Pia and Gracciano.
