Like all of the Mazzei family’s wines, the Rosso Toscana Badiola is modern in style.

A wine full of character and smooth at the same time. It combines the finesse of the freshest Sangiovese with the structure and smoothness of Merlot. The grapes, hand-picked in September, come from a higher vineyard at Castello di Fonterutoli. Badiola matures first in stainless steel tanks and then for ten months in French or American oak barrels. Elegant with fresh red fruit aromas and a velvety taste
