Gin Sul

Altonaer Spirituosen-Manufaktur in Hamburg is the smallest distillery in Germany.
On the nose, Sul Gin Sul promises a soft aroma of juniper, herbaceous notes are added and rosemary is recognizable. Sweet notes are only slightly hinted at. On the palate, Sul Gin is smooth and dry with its 43% vol. The spice transforms into a slightly resinous lemon aroma, well balanced by fresh citrus notes. The finish lasts pleasantly long and we again get a light aroma of juniper, combined with hints of orange and a light floral touch.

Juniper is accompanied by original ingredients such as coriander, rosemary, lavender and cistus and Portuguese lemons harvested from the cliffs of the Algarve. Made entirely by hand and filled in a white clay bottle
Stephan Garbe traveled all over Portugal many years ago and came up with the idea for a Portuguese-inspired gin. In 2013 he implemented the idea, founded Altonaer-Spirituosen-Manufaktur with his young distiller Paul Brusdeilins and celebrated great success with it.
