For the 3rd edition of the series, the rum is distilled exclusively in stills and then matured in American Virgin Oak barrels for 8 years.

This is how this series of 3 ‘Batch Kettle’, ‘Barbet Coloumn Still’ and ‘Pot Still’ was born. A copper still is used for the still, which has been owned by Destileria Unidas since 1959 and was specially made in England. It was matured exclusively in bourbon barrels and only 5,000 bottles were produced.
