- Description
Fresh and fruity aroma with dominant notes of peach, plum and grapefruit, with hints of toasted hazelnuts. Mineral on the palate with lots of volume and elegant acidity with rich, fruity, persistent aromas and a fresh, pleasant aftertaste.
Cordillera Chardonnay originates in the Limarí Valley, which has a cool climate typical of the Chilean coast. This bright valley of calcareous soils, characterized by deep clay, loamy and alluvial soils, offers excellent conditions for growing the Chardonnay variety. After a soft pressing, this wine ferments in French oak barrels for 9 months, giving it a distinct personality, freshness and elegance.
With a presence in more than 100 countries, the Miguel Torres Chile family winery has established itself over the past 30 years as a leading producer of high-quality wines through the identity of its products, respect for the environment and social responsibility.
Backed by a history rooted in wine culture in Spain, Miguel Torres Chile arrived in the Curicó Valley in 1979 after seeking a new location. On this journey, in addition to finding excellent climatic conditions, the family has been innovating in wine production, incorporating stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels. Today Miguel Torres Chile also focuses his efforts on organic viticulture and fair trade certification for various wines. These advances have helped the company become more sustainable and implement several sustainable projects.
