Intense aroma, large bouquet of aromas. The ten herbal components are expressed in taste. On the one hand it has a fresh and soft taste, on the other hand the pepper notes add flavor.
Ten botanicals
: lemon, almond, licorice, juniper, iris, angelica, coriander, cinnamon cassia, cubeb pepper and grains of paradise. Unlike other London Dry Gins, the latter make the gin appear milder and offset the typical juniper flavor.
Ivano Tonutti is Bombay Sapphire’s master of botany. Classic gin is still distilled on original stills Carterhead Mary and Tom, both vintage 1830, in the historic Laverstoke Mill distillery. Bombay Sapphire has been part of Bacardi since 1998.
