Youthful purple-red. Beautiful multilayered fragrance, notes of violet, dried fruit, lavender, blueberry and plum. Juicy, well balanced with medium body, nice aftertaste of floral aromas.

Hand-harvested and hand-selected. Garnacha vineyards grow on slate soils, Cariñena vineyards on clay and Syrah on limestone, so three different terroirs combined in one bottle! The base blue wine is aged for 4 months in used French oak barrels.

Founded in 2003 and owned by Juan Gil Bodegas Familiares. 35 hectares of vineyards, cultivated with the typical grapes of the regionGarnacha , Cariñena, Mazuelo andShiraz . The average age of the vineyards is 40 years.

Cellers Can Blau is one of the oldest projects of the Gil family. The vineyards of Montsants are flatter than those of neighboring Priorat, but more diverse in their soils. The use of the native Cariñena grape is particularly exciting in Can Blau.
