- Description
Ambrosia is made from grapes of the verdicchio vine, an indigenous variety of the Marche region, which expresses its best characteristics only in the sunny Jesino hills. Vignamato is one of the reference wineries in the production of Verdicchio di Jesi, as this wine confirms. Ambrosia is a white wine with complex aromas; it is structured, full-bodied, elegant and very pleasant. It owes some of its complexity to aging in barrels for 12/14 months.
Straw yellow in color with greenish hues tending to golden, the nose is fresh and very persistent with perceptible hints of bitter almond and ripe fruit. The palate is extremely elegant with good balance, great volume and good minerality. Very persistent, with long flavors of apple, plum and almond.
The basis of our philosophy is to produce wines that reflect different localities.
Delicate and precise vinification of grapes from individual vineyards in small tanks and the combination of centuries-old wisdom and modern technology serve only our goal: to produce wines with a unique origin, wines that taste like Vignamato and that lead back to our slogan “emotions to drink.”
